LTO: HOW TO APPLY FOR NEW ACCREDITATION OF DRIVING SCHOOL’S INSTRUCTOR

Driving schools are soon the prerequisite for applying the license, either student, non-professional or professional application. Having this kind of business will soon be in-demand for years to come. Here’s the procedure on how to become an accredited driving school instructor.

WHO MAY AVAIL:

Applicant-Driving Instructor/Lecturer with the following qualifications:
*Must have passed the written examination for driving school instructors
*Must take and pass the neuropsychiatric test from a government accredited entity; and
*Must not have been convicted by final judgment of a crime involving moral turpitude, or of a crime punishable by prison correctional under the Revised Penal Code

CHECKLIST OF REQUIREMENTS

1. One (1) copy of the duly accomplished Application Form
2. One (1) Photocopy of valid Professional Driver’s License for the vehicle category to be lectured for at least five (5) years (original to be presented)
3. One (1) Certified true copy of Diploma and appropriate certificates of training such as TESDA National TVET Trainer’s Certificate (NTTC) and Nation Certificate (NC) II in Driving and Automotive Servicing
4. One (1) original Certificate of Neuropsychiatric Test Result
5. One (1) original copy of a valid certification that the applicant has undergone a mandatory drug test, and that he/she is free from the use of dangerous drugs
6. One (1) Original Copy of valid National Bureau of Investigation or Police Clearance; and
7. One (1) Original Certificate of No Apprehension for the past twelve (12) months
8. Original copy of result of the written examination

  • Reviews the application and validates the authenticity of the requirements upon receipt thereof
  • Recommends approval of application and issuance of a certificate of accreditation

  • Informs the applicant thru the Regional Office for the payment of accreditation fee and issuance of Provisional Authority via email

  • Proceeds to the Regional Office for the payment of accreditation fees. Receives OR.
