SUBJECT: | NON-COLLECTION OF PENALTIES, AND EXTENSION OF VALIDITY OF DRIVER’S LICENSES, REGISTRATION AND OTHER PERMITS AND CLEARANCES |

Pursuant to the President’s pronouncement placing Metro Manila under community quarantine and suspending government work in the Executive Department for a period of one month to contain the spread of COVID-19, it is hereby directed that:
- No penalties shall be collected for the late registration of motor vehicles and renewal of driver’s licenses which shall expire during the duration of the community quarantine. In the case of the NCR, from 13 March to 12 April 2020;
- The validity of the student permit, shall be extended within the aforementioned duration for the purpose of applying for a driver’s license; and
- Temporary Operator’s Permits (TOPs) which expired on 13 March 2020, can be settled within the aforementioned duration without suspension.
